Poland

Cheshch from Krakow! We arrived here this morning (unfortunately on a 6:40 AM flight...ew). I know it has been a long time since I last updated but it is hard to get the motivation to go online when you are in Europe. Ibiza, Spain was incredible. All we did during the day was hang out by the beach and relax at night. One night we went to the club Pacha to see David Guetta (one of my favorite DJs!) perform...superb! After Ibiza we flew to Munich (Munchen :) ). I really liked it there, and it is actually one of the places from this trip where I could see myself living for a period of time. I had lots of beer, sausage and pretzels there. We also took a day trip to Fussen, Germany to see the castle of Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein. It was also the inspiration for at least one Disney castle (I have heard Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty...not sure which or both) which is its bigger claim to fame. It was gorgeous there in Fussen. It is nestled in the Bavarian Alps and there is the Alpsee, the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. It was actually the most beautiful place I have seen on my entire trip. Can't wait to post the pics in a couple short days! Now that we are in Poland we are planning to go on several tours, including one of Auschwitz. I am looking forward to going there because I have always been so interested in the Holocaust. I know it will be an emotional experience but I think it is so important to see. I have already had pierogies and traditional Polish soup, Zurkek ( I think that's what it was called). Excited to do more Polish things....in a couple short days I return to Amsterdam for 2 nights and on Sunday I will be home. Crazy! But it will be good to be home.
